BrandBoard

The goal was to create a brand board for MixBox, a subscription service that delivers self-craft cocktail kits. Their concept focuses on bringing surprising, bar-quality cocktail flavours to people’s homes, turning cocktail making into a relaxing and social moment with friends and loved ones.

The target audience are urban professionals and creatives (25–45) who value high-quality ingredients, enjoy hosting, and want convenience without sacrificing the experience of discovering new and exciting drinks.

The big idea

Icons

Simple, bold, and a little bit cheeky - these icons match MixBox’s vibrant, welcoming vibe. Their clean look keeps them easy to recognise while adding personality. This was the trickiest part - finding icons that felt fresh, on-brand, and still clear took some real experimenting.

Logo

Our logo mixes elegance with playfulness - just like MixBox itself. The lemon-slice “O” adds that fresh, cocktail twist, and Palmore keeps it clean and friendly. Honestly, this was my favorite part, I had so much fun figuring out how to make it feel like the brand.

Typography

I chose Palmore, Playfair Display, and Akatab for their mix of vintage elegance and modern minimalism - Palmore adds playful charm, Playfair brings confident contrast, and Akatab keeps it clean and simple. Together, they create a timeless yet fresh brand feel.

For the style, I went with a vintage-retro vibe mixed with playful, vibrant touches to keep it friendly and grounded in earthy values. It connects with the audience while staying fresh - not too old-school, just the right amount of modern flair.

My takeaway.

I learned to dive deeper into the brand - not just its visuals, but its values too. Shaping a style that fits the brand, audience, and product was super fun. I also loved experimenting with icons and logos to make them unique and memorable.
